Whip Your Health into Shape

We all want the quick and easy way to lose weight, look better, feel better, and better our overall health. There are some tips to turn things around and start seeing results. Make small tweaks to your diet and exercise and start seeing how effective it is. Take baby steps before making large leaps.

  1. Stop eating anything white
  2. Start eating lean protein
  3. Cut down on processed foods
  4. Exercise at least an hour or two a day
  5. Drink water, and lots of it
  6. Sleep Consistently and often


Throw out the white bread. Dump the white rice now. It isn’t good for you, hasn’t been, and never will. Instead switch to brown rice, wheat bread. It is much better of those people that have to have these products in your life. Switch it up and get some variety.

Eating lean meats is much better for your body as well. Less of the junk stuff like fat and more goodness. Don’t complain and say that’s where all the flavor is. Add more flavor and cook it right, if you do it should taste way better than that greasy pile of fat we used to eat.

Start cutting down on canned foods, saturated fat, sugar, and salt. Your body will thank you. Cook food from scratch. Instead of white sugar use brown sugar or even switch to honey. Cut down or cut out the chocolates and sweets. You will start to notice a huge difference in the way you feel and how your body reacts to that. Watch and see.


Exercise everyday! Take a walk, swim at the community pool, play with your children at the park, etc. Get active, even if it is just an hour a day in your own home. It keeps your body going and metabolism up.
Our bodies are made up of mostly water. So with everything we take in, water helps to clear that out as well. Keep all of your organs healthy and strong and drink lots of water.

Sleep is something a lot of people tend to overlook as being important. When we sleep our mind and bodies repairs and resets itself. It takes time to rebuild what the day did. So take that nap when your body asks for it. Shut your eyes and go to sleep when you feel like it. Thats your body telling you that it needs to rest and reboot. So do that for yourself.
